At irregular intervals, blogs on knowledge and experiences from us and our customer projects appear here.

Recruitment has become demanding and highly versatile. For us, the most relevant things are those that ultimately generate added value and can be implemented in a practical way.

Finding qualified staff is one of the biggest challenges for many companies today. While it was often enough in the past to publish a job advertisement and wait for applications, this approach no longer works quite so easily for many positions. Skilled workers and experienced specialists in particular are often already in employment and are not actively looking for a new job.

In the Swiss labour market, traditional entry-level jobs are disappearing while generative AI is taking over more and more tasks in office and knowledge-based professions. The Tages-Anzeiger reports a creeping loss of knowledge and describes how companies are already taking countermeasures to secure young talent and critical judgment within the organisation (Hollenstein, 2024). At the same time, a Swiss labour market analysis by Jobcloud shows that junior positions in AI-exposed roles have fallen significantly, further intensifying the debate around deskilling (Jobcloud AG, 2026; Reuters, 2026). For HR managers and SME executive boards, this raises a strategic question: how can AI be used productively without undermining the development of competencies within the company?

When people talk about artificial intelligence, many think first of spectacular developments: self-driving vehicles, intelligent robots, or systems that solve complex tasks seemingly at the push of a button. The media regularly reports on new technological breakthroughs and frequently conveys the impression that artificial intelligence takes place primarily where particularly innovative technologies are deployed.

A researcher has measured what many suspect: AI systems now process information over a thousand times more efficiently than humans – and the gap is growing rapidly. Worse still: we are helping them do it.
